About Ak Bulak
Ak Bulak lies at the foot of the Zailiysky Alatau in the Talgar district, in Soldiers' Gorge at about 1,600 m. It markets itself as a family-friendly alternative to Shymbulak, with lower prices.
The resort has modern lifts of Italian and Austrian make. On clear days Talgar Peak rises above the slopes.
