About Amirsoy

Amirsoy Mountain Resort is the largest ski resort in Uzbekistan and one of the newest in Central Asia. It sits on the northern flank of Mount Maygashkan in the Bostanlyk district, on the spurs of the Chatkal Ridge in the western Tien Shan.

A gondola carries skiers up to about 2,290 m, where there is a cafe with panoramic views. In total there are seven lifts, including travelators for training and tubing slopes, a chairlift and the gondola. The rental center offers 650 sets of equipment, and it is the only ski area in Uzbekistan with a ski-pass system.

  • About 98 km by road from Tashkent (the resort gives 65 km in a straight line)
  • About 93 km from Tashkent International Airport
  • Drive through Gazalkent and follow the signs for Chimgan and Beldersay

On the mountain
