About Erciyes
Erciyes has runs for every skier and snowboarder, tunnel walking bands for beginners and many blue runs for training. Guided tours teach off-piste routes in a single day, and the Develi Gate runs hosted an FIS snowboard competition.
After skiing, Magna Pivot hosts après-ski parties, and the restaurants serve Turkish and international food. Staying in Kayseri city center is recommended: Cappadocia is an hour away, with tastings of local wines.

The four gates
1. Tekir Gate
The busiest area, between Develi and Hisarcık. It has one 1,602 m run, less suited to snowboarding and off-piste.
The Tekir Gondola and Walking Band run from 2,209 m to 2,466 m. Night skiing runs from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Local food, sports shops, hotels and restaurants cluster here.
2. Develi Gate
An FIS snowboard competition took place here. Reach it by the Kültepe Chairlift (2,225 m to 2,637 m), popular with off-piste and carving skiers.
Magna Pivot Bar and Restaurant is at the start of the run, with world cuisine, cocktails, shops and a rental center. It is the meeting point for après-ski, and the resort's only terrain park is here.
3. Hisarcık Gate
A base for ski schools and the link to Tekir and Hacılar gates, with a valley route for off-piste skiers.
The Divan and Ottoman chairlifts lead to the top station at 3,346 m, with a 5 km non-stop descent back to Hisarcık.
4. Hacılar Gate
The Lifos Gondola climbs from 2,088 m to 2,636 m and serves the longest run. Mostly red runs, plus off-piste options.
Amalia Boutique Hotel serves hot wine with live music in the afternoon. You can ski between Hacılar and Hisarcık gates.
