Good to know
All of Uzbekistan's ski resorts lie in the Chatkal Range, within about two hours of Tashkent. Amirsoy is the modern option with a ski-pass system, while Chimgan and Beldersay are older, simpler and cheaper. Heli-skiing takes place further northeast, in the Chatkal, Ugam and Pskem ranges near the Kyrgyz border.
