Good to know
Most ski bases in Kyrgyzstan are small. Facilities are limited, some lifts date from the Soviet era and grooming can be basic, but slopes are uncrowded and prices are low. Karakol, Jyrgalan and the backcountry around them are the main draw for visiting skiers.
